Frank Flannery, Pictorial Photographer,
Berkeley, CA (1877-1963)

He was born in Bemingham, England on July 2, 1877.
He arrived in San Francisco on May 12, 1908
He his wife Karen Ulff Moller Flannery born on October 26, 1874 in Denmark. In 1917 he and Karen are listed in the city dir. at 1121 Masonic Avenue, San Francisco. They had one daughter Eileen F. Flannery she was born in San Francisco on May 6, 1918.
In the late teens he is listed as a ship fitter working at Union Ship Yards but by 1920 he is listed as a photographer.
Moving to Berkeley in the early 1920's.
By 1922 they are listed as living and having a photo studio at 1426 Spruce Street Berkeley, Alameda Co., California.
He was a member of the California Camera Club, The Pictorial Photographic Society of San Francisco, The Pictorial Photographers of America. His work appeared in Camera Craft and Photo-Era Magazines, and many other photo publications.
And from 1931-1939 we find him at 1864 Montgomery, Chico, Oroville.
His wife died in San Francisco on July 16 of 1943 at 68 years.
And in 1947-1963 we find him at 306 Cedar Street, Pacific Grove
He died on May 12, 1963 in San Jose at the age of 85.
