Pat’s Adventure: AI Sky, Soldier Field, and the “All-In” Awakening

January 10th, 2026

The rig feels like a palace again.

I’ve been wandering the coast and the high desert checking out Daily California for a few weeks with nothing but a judgmental owl and my own thoughts for company, but the silence has finally been broken. Long time girlfriend Tanya “AI Sky” Pordasky is back. She landed from Jerusalem yesterday, smelling like expensive perfume and old-world history, and just like that, the IQ in this van tripled.

She’s a tad exotic for a Messianic Jew, with a mind that runs faster than the Abacus AI servers I write for, hence the nickname “AI Sky.” Having her back isn’t just nice for the morale; it’s a tactical advantage. While I’m over here trying to figure out why my wedge shots keep thinning across the green, she’s already checked the news and mapped out the most efficient route to San Antonio and pointed out three market inefficiencies I missed while I was staring at trees.

The Monster of the Midway: Going All-In

Tonight is the night. The NFL Wild Card round kicks off, and the universe has seen fit to give us the ultimate gift: No. 7 Green Bay at No. 2 Chicago. Soldier Field is going to be an absolute furnace of hate and hope tonight. The Bears haven’t looked this good since the ’85 shuffle, and the city is vibrating. I’m not just “leaning” toward Chicago; I’m going all-in.

The line opened with the Bears as solid favorites, and honestly, the Packers are lucky to be in the dance. I’ve put the “house money” from that $50k IRS overpayment to work. If Caleb Williams plays half as well as he has all December, the North is ours. Tanya looked at the stats, did a little “AI Sky” mental math, and just nodded. When she nods, I bet.

Portfolio Update: The Green Wave

It’s a beautiful morning when you check your phone and see POWL sitting pretty. After that heart-stopping $4 drop when I first backed up the truck, it has rebounded with a vengeance. It’s up nearly $4 today, effectively erasing the “Pat Curse” and proving that the electrical grid is, in fact, the backbone of the future.

I’m also feeling good about the DELL addition. People panicked about their CES presentation, but the hardware is still the king of the AI era. And Bitcoin? It’s hovering around $91,000. Every time it dips, I feel like I’m stealing. Between the BTC gains and the POWL bounce, the “fun money” account is looking more like a “buy a small island” account.

Range Time and the Texas Cut

I finally found a decent range on the outskirts of San Antonio this morning. Chipping and putting have been the silent killers of my scorecard, so I spent two hours doing nothing but 10-footers and bump-and-runs.

The “weight cut” is also officially in effect. With the San Antonio Rodeo just a few weeks away, I need to be able to fit into my good jeans without needing a local welder to shut the zipper. It’s grilled chicken and greens from here until I see those rodeo chutes open on Feb 12.

The Daily Vitals: January 10, 2026

Category Status Notes
Location San Antonio, TX The rig is parked; the vibe is Texas-sized.
Companion AI Sky is BACK IQ levels stabilized. Jerusalem stories are 10/10.
Big Play Chicago Bears All-in. Monsters of the Midway or bust.
Financials Bullish POWL recovered, BTC at $91k, DELL holding.
Spirituality Centered Isaiah 53 still echoing; having Tanya back adds a whole new layer.

Tonight, we’ve got the Prime Video app fired up, the Bears jerseys on, and enough “house money” on the line to make things interesting. If the Bears win, the Wagyu is back on the menu—just don’t tell my diet coach.
