Managed to play a round of golf yesterday at Pebble Beach—can you believe the green fees? You’re looking at dern near $700 just to walk the grass, and that ain’t counting the cart or the caddie! Robbery in broad daylight, but looking out at that ocean, I guess they got you by the short hairs.I’m sore as a plow mule today. Had not played in two months, shot an 88 as a 12 handicap. Even though the score wasn’t good, I felt good playing and getting a few pars. Just breathing that air makes you feel alive.
What a crazy wild week on Wall Street. I dropped POWL (Powell Industries) on you guys at $340 what, 2 months ago? It’s sitting pretty over $580 today. But that’s not what I want to talk about.
Guys, I went all in on AMZN. When I say all in, it’s now my 2nd largest holding after MSFT. Guys, it’s a 3-year plan to AI our collective brains out. So here we go with the order of Pat’s portfolio now that it’s set. Here we go:
MSFT, AMZN, DELL, GOOG, PLTR, ACN, IBM.
Now don’t write me and say “Where is your Nvidia ya big dum dead bozo clown!” It’s already made its run. Trees don’t grow to the sky, folks. I don’t like AMD either, but I do like DELL for reasons I don’t exactly know. Kind of like my bible study on Isaiah—ya got to go with the text, and the text tells me these 7 are going to rake in the profit of AI.
Abacus News has a good article on why you should grab MSFT, but folks I’m gonna tell ya, AMZN is the purest play on the board. They will own the sensitive data channel that is our US government. They are building the fortress.
MSFT is still playing woke games and Pappy Trump never even invites those fuggers to the White House. You see the top 20 tech executives meeting with the cabinet and where is MSFT? In Wokeville. Sure, MSFT is still my numero uno long-run style. They may be woker than a man pretending to be a broad, but they are sneaky smart. They own the enterprise desktop, and that ain’t changing.
Bunch of you have dern near stalked me for my Super Bowl pick. It’s nice to be famous, but it can be a tad annoying. But let’s get to business.
At -4.5, I’m taking the Hawks. And no, it’s not a West Coast homie thing. Does the -4.5 scare me? Only a little. NE just is not strong enough at QB to worry me that the back door might get left open. Drake Maye has had a nice little run, but this Seattle defense is a different animal. I think the Hawks smother ’em.
Enjoy the game, and let’s shoot some pictures.
